Sampath Super Trading (Pvt) Ltd. was founded in 2000 by Mr. Dinusha Sampath Liyanage. What started as a small shop in Panthiya, has now grown to become the fifth largest supermarket chain in Sri Lanka. The company's businesses include supermarkets, food manufacturing, mango plantation, bakery products, water production and tourism services. It employs over 1,100 people.
